USGEO Seeking Public Input for best practices for Federal government procurement of commercial Earth observation and geospatial data and services.
Passing along information relating to the United States Group on Earth Observations (USGEO) effort in preparing a document containing best practices for Federal government procurement of commercial Earth observation and geospatial data and services, per the 2019 National Plan for Civil Earth Observations (https://usgeo.gov/uploads/Natl-Plan-for-Civil-Earth-Obs.pdf). USGEO is seeking public input on best practices to inform the writing of this report. USGEO is seeking participation from all interested parties, including private sector providers and users, academia, and the public.
You are invited to attend an online session seeking public input. Four sessions will be held during June 2021. You only need to attend one event to offer your inputs. Please register for the events at these links.
